ANDREW TUNZO - THE WINNER OF ISWOSO RESEARCH ACADEMIC COMPETITION FOR THE BACHELOR LEVEL

Academic Research Competition at the Institute of Social Work, was organised by the ISWOSO under the Ministry of Education to give a chance for university students to participate in research.

Today is the final stage where by 10 participants will presenting their research, in order to defend it in front of the judges.
From the list of participants 5 of them come from Bachelor degree level, 3 from Diploma level and 1 from certificate level. 

During the opening of the final competition the President of the Institute Students Organisation -  ISWOSO Hon. Hemed Haroub in his opening speech he said that, the idea was originated from the Hubert Kairuki Memorial University, and they are in the furthest step where almost all applied health universities participating on the competition. 

At the ISW this was the first time to be organised and for the future, it's his hope that the events will be publicised and shown in media houses.

Mr. Riziki, the assistance lecturer of ISW presenting the topic that says " The contribution of Academicians in Socio - economic development".

The first presenter was Mr. Kayange Amon, a bachelor degree student pursuing Social Work - 3rd year, with the title "Exploring the role of child neglect to the increasing rate of street children".

The second presenter was Mr. Deus Lyimo, pursuing a bachelor degree in Human Resource Management - first year, with the title  "Factors that hinder effective implementation if Health and Safety in Public Sectors".


Mr. Deus Lyimo,  a first year bachelor degree student of Human Resource  Management, who is a second presenter.

The third presenter of the research academic presentation is Sr. Margaret Kiria, a third year bachelor degree student who presenting the research that says "Assessment of the Influence of Culture on Accessibility to education among girls in Tanzania "


Sr. Margareth Kiria a third year bachelor degree students pursuing Social work.


Mr. Andrew Tunzo was the 4th presenter who pursue the bachelor degree in Human Resource Management - a third year student, with the research says " Assessment of the Impact of Noise Pollution towards students effective listening in class" A case study of ISW.

Impact of Students participation in Higher Learning Institutions in Tanzania - a case of ISW was another research study presented by Mr. Lumumba Sembuli , a second year bachelor degree student taking Human Resource Management.
